Where can I buy a Kronan bicycle?
We sell the bicycle exclusively on our website, www.usa.kronan.com. We currently ship to addresses in the United States only.

What’s the delivery time?
Count on about 10 business days for the arrival of your Kronan. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. If we’re out of a specific model, the delivery time will be longer but we’ll let you know via email if that’s the case.

How is the Kronan bicycle delivered?
We use UPS and can deliver the bicycle either to your home or business. We just ask that you’re there to sign for it.

The bicycle comes close to final assembled. Please follow the easy instructions included in the box to get your Kronan up and riding quickly.

How can I track my bicycle once I have purchased it?
On the day the warehouse ships your bicycle, we'll send you an email with the UPS tracking number. We ship twice weekly, so stay tuned.

Is there any assembly required when my bicycle shows up?
Yes, there are few things you need to do before hitting the road on your new Kronan. Please refer to the manual that came with your bicycle. Or, if you lost the manual, click on the links below to download a replacement:

Is freight cost the same regardless of destination in the United States?
The cost, $95, is the same for the continental 48 states and a little bit more for Alaska and Hawaii.

How large is the box, and how much does it weigh?

The Kronan is shipped in a box that weighs approximately 51 lbs. The dimensions of the shipping box are about 59" long, 39" high, and about 10" thick.

Where can I find the frame number?
This is stamped into the frame, right under the crank.  It’s the same number as the number on the license plate.  Write down your number and keep it in a safe place so that you’ll have it in case the bicycle is lost or stolen.

What happens if I lose the key to the bicycle lock?
First off, please make sure you write down the key number and keep it in a safe place.  You can, for a small fee, order a new key at www.bastagroup.com and it will be delivered to you.

How should I best care for my Kronan bicycle?
Wash and rinse your bicycle regularly. This is especially important during winter if you live in a part of the country where road salt is used. The frame has been treated with a clear varnish, which makes it highly resistant to rust and wear and tear.

To completely avoid rust, we recommend that you treat non-varnished parts with a rust-protection agent. When you’ve ridden your bicycle for a while, we suggest you tighten nuts and bolts. Regularly lubricate the chain with a chain lubricant. Every now and then check to make sure the tire pressure is about 50 psi. For more information, download the owner’s manual from the links above.

Can I buy a Kronan bicycle without the hand brake?
As of March 2007, all Kronan models are equipped with a hand brake.

Where can I find Kronan spare parts?
Please write us an email at infous@kronan.com to let us know which part you’re looking for, and we’ll do our best to find it for you. Try to have handy the year you bought your bicycle, color, and model. We’ll also quote you the price of the part.

How does the guarantee work?
The Kronan bicycle comes with a one-year full warranty and a five-year frame warranty.

What is your return policy and how do I return a bicycle if I need to?

Return Policy
You may return your Kronan bicycle for any reason within 10 business days of receiving the bicycle—you just pay the shipping cost.  We cannot accept returned bicycles that have been ridden outdoors.

Guarantee
If you find any faults with your Kronan bicycle, we’d like to hear from you.  Every Kronan bicycle comes with a one-year full warranty.  Just provide us your receipt and/or purchase confirmation and we’ll happily refund your purchase or exchange your bicycle for another Kronan of equal or less value.

The guarantee covers defects in material and workmanship only.  It doesn’t cover maintenance, repairs, parts exchanges, normal wear and tear, or any damage or failure resulting from improper use or handling.

Return Procedure

Please click here to download the return form, fill it out and mail it to us at Kronan, Inc. 340 Pine Street Suite 503, San Francisco, CA 94104. Please return the Kronan bicycle in the shipping box in which the bicycle was delivered.

Why can't I use a pump other than the one that came with my bicycle?
The current shipment of Kronan bicycles are equipped with inner tubes that have a valve that is more common in countries other than the US. So, the pump that came with your bicycle is your quickest option to pump the tires. Adapters are available to make other pumps work. If you need one, please email us at infous@kronan.com, and we can either send you one or help you find a local shop that carries them.
